At Good Dog, we believe that one of the greatest benefits of owning a well-trained and socialised dog is the freedom to take them almost anywhere. We also recognise how important it is to educate both dog owners and the wider community so that public spaces remain safe, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone.
That’s why we created our Good Dogs Welcome initiative. It brings dog owners and dog-friendly businesses together with a shared commitment to encouraging safe, responsible dog ownership and supporting a more welcoming experience for dogs in public spaces.
What is Good Dogs Welcome?
Good Dogs Welcome is a community-driven initiative that supports responsible dog ownership while encouraging businesses to open their doors to well-trained and properly socialised dogs.
Our Good Dogs Welcome stickers, proudly displayed at participating businesses, let customers know that well-trained, properly socialised dogs are welcome in designated areas, promoting a safer and respectful dog-friendly community for both dog owners and non-dog owners alike.
Whether it’s your local cafe, pub, retail store or farmers market, the Good Dogs Welcome sticker signifies a shared commitment to encouraging safe and responsible dog ownership while celebrating the benefits of having dogs in our everyday lives.
