Having a well-trained, properly socialised dog is all kinds of awesome. Whether you want to enjoy a coffee at your local cafe, a few quiet drinks with friends, or dinner with the family – a well-trained dog is included in your lifestyle and gets to go more places, more often.
We offer private training in the following ways:
Option 1
Private Coaching
Private Coaching is our most popular option and is designed to teach you how to train your dog. We come in and work collaboratively with you in the convenience of your own home and around your neighbourhood to create practical, real life training situations specific to the needs and goals of both you and your dog.
Private Coaching is a great choice for the handler and dog team that want a one-on-one approach to get on the right track.
Cost: Starts at $220 for an initial 1.5-hour session. Program options available.
**PLEASE NOTE: Training sessions are available weekdays and weekends 0800 – 1930 and book in advance (currently 3-4 weeks) Please consider this before submitting a booking request.
Option 2
Day Training
This is a fantastic option for our existing clients who want everything that comes with having a well-trained dog but are short on time.
Whilst you’re at work, we train your dog in your home and/or neighbourhood and then teach you the necessary skills to maintain the training for the long haul. A typical day-training program consists of 2-3 hourly sessions per week with a handover session at the end of your dogs time with us to show you what your dog has learned.
You are not required to be present except for the handover sessions however you’re not completely ‘hands-off’. You will still need to put some work in if your dog is to listen and behave for you at the end of the program.
**PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer Day Training for clients that we have not already worked with. This service is available to our existing clients as a ‘top up’ to their existing training programs.

The Super Puppy
The amount your puppy can and should learn in the first critical months of their development, can be overwhelming. A convenient alternative to puppy school, we’ll show you how to create training opportunities as part of every day life by providing you with the theory and practical skills to help your puppy grow into a reliable life-long companion, who is a joy to live with. This program is suitable for pups under the age of 6 months.
How to correctly socialise your puppy / Relationship building / Toilet training / Prevention of problem behaviours / Independence building / Basic obedience & manners / Mouthing & teething / Crate training / etc.

The Good Dog
Whether your dog is pulling you down the street, jumping on visitors or you simply want a dog that sits, drops and comes when called, the first time, every time - we’ll plan these sessions around you, your dog and your busy lifestyle, so you can have the dog you can be proud of.

The J K Growling
Does your dog growl, bark, lunge or suddenly turn into Cujo at the sight of another dog or person on walks? Whatever your dog’s reaction or the reason for it, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to help your dog gain the confidence and social skills so that walks are no longer a frustrating or stressful experience.

The Melbourne Dog
Training your dog isn't just sits, drops and walking nicely on lead. It's about creating a confident, well behaved and well mannered dog that you can take everywhere with you as a happily accepted member of the community. If like us, you value your best friend for what they truly are, a companion animal, we'll help you get that coffee shop dog.

The Family Dog
Children and dogs can make wonderful friends, provided both dogs and children are taught how to appropriately behave around each other.
